DOB Model 60

Hi I picked up a nice model 60 no dash, and am curious as to when it was made. The gun has a pined barrel and a serial # 4793**, have not found an online place to get this information. When did the first dash get added to a M60? This gun is like most snubs I have seen, looks to be shot very little, but intend to correct that. Thanks Bill

From what i can gleen from SCSW3, the 60-1 came out in 1972. Does your gun have the diamond around the grip screw? If so, it is pre 1968. Your serial range should also be a bright finish with case colored hammer and trigger. Nice purchase, I just got one on saturday, 1969 by the serial number.

Yes it has a diamond around the grip screw and is a bright finish but the trigger and hammer are nickle plated (light silver color).
