I happen to have a real original from my old sainted dad, he wore it for close to 6 years (yes, he left before Pearl harbor and did not come back until after VJ day, we have no idea what he did) in the south pacific. still runs and keeps good time although it pretty much a safe item. I know they were made by many USA watch companies, this one happens to be a hamilton.
