I'm seeing more .380 on the ground lately, seems to be gaining interest for sure. A fellow left me shoot his P365 .380 a few weeks ago and I have to say it was very nice.
Interesting how the 380 ACP has arisen like a Phoenix as a defense option. But one needs to choose carefully from available factory loads. Hornady 90 XTP or 90 FTX Critical Defense are two good choices, based on published test results. Also Remington 88 HTP.I'm seeing more .380 on the ground lately, seems to be gaining interest for sure. A fellow left me shoot his P365 .380 a few weeks ago and I have to say it was very nice.
There's definitely some cougars there, which ain't a bad thing at my age.“ Besides there aren't many bears or cougars in Hotlanta”
Man, I had to bite my tongue not to respond to that one!
I shoot 9mm, 45 ACP, and 40S&W the most in pistol calibers. I have recently started shooting 45 (Long) Colt. I inherited a load (1000+) of reloads when my brother passed over 20 years ago, and I really didn't have anything to shoot them in, minus a NIB US made 94 Trails End and a mint Ruger Super Blackhawk 3 screw in box. I really didn't want to shoot them (yeah, I know, but my guns my rules).
Long story short, last month I picked up a Rossi R92 and a Ruger New Bisley Vaquero, both in stainless steel. What fun they are to shoot.
The one caliber I hardy shoot at all if ever is .22 LR. IT just doesn't do anything for me.
My S&W wheel guns have been lonely lately too. Just they way it is. 1911's and 3rd Gen Smiths are more interesting to me now.
JMHO YMMV
There are both I hear! No personal knowledge though.“ Besides there aren't many bears or cougars in Hotlanta”
