Does the SHIELD PLUS use the same SEAR as the M&P ?

I just ordered a SHIELD PLUS.

Does the SHIELD PLUS use the same SEAR as the M&P 1.0 ?

I could be wrong, but I haven't heard anything about there being any changes made to the 'Upper'. the changes seem to be in the Lower.

Why do you ask? Already pondering mods?

well, the SEAR is in the lower, ....yeah, I might tune the engagement of the sear a bit, as shown in Burwells excellent triggerjob PDF

Heck, then just do the Burwells trigger job with the existing sear.
That's the only work I did to my Gen1 and I didn't need to add, or swap parts.

Lol have not shot the pistol and already going to tune it.
You might find that it ok just the way it is mine is great right out of the box.

i've owned a bunch of M&P's and have either done the Burwell tune or APEX forward set flat faced trigger system on them

if it's decent, right out of the box, I may not mess with it

The cop ffl I picked mine up from was impressed with the trigger. Likened it to the Apex triggers he installs in his glock and shield 1.0

I like it.
internals look just like my old original 1.0 series.

Trigger is really nice, almost as nice as APEX.

I'll probably leave stock.

I really like the gun.

ran 300 rounds of handloads, 125coated, and 115XTP, and some factory 124gr +p Speer Gold dot factory. 100% reliable so far.

shoots wonderfully.

Just got this from Apex, appears the parts from the Shield 2.0 fit the plus. The sear is part of this kit.

Also from their site for their Fully Machined Sear:

For Use In These Guns
Part# 100-074 is for use in the original M&P series pistols in 9mm, .357SIG, and .40S&W only, and the Shield 2.0 in 9mm and .40S&W.

Part# 100-063 is for use in the M&P 45, M&P M2.0 models in 9mm and .40S&W, and M&P Shield (9mm/40S&W/45ACP).

These part #'s are for the sear only.
