A couple months ago, Mrs Chad came home, backed into the driveway and got hung up on the curb. She gave the Bronco Raptor some gas and lit up the tires in our driveway! I gave her a hard time about it and she laughed.

Today, I pulled the vehicles into the street and mowed the lawn. She was using a torch to make ceramic jewelry in the garage when I backed the B-Raptor into the driveway. I pulled up to the curb, gave it some gas and lit 'em up! When I got out, she was laughing like an idiot!

You're never too old to make your wife laugh and you don't even need to be neked! :p

The simplest entertainment can be the best. How ya liking your Bronco?
The Mrs loves it, but doesn't use it for its intended purpose. I don't think she's even had it on a dirt road! She mostly uses it to go shopping and take the dog to the park. It is fast, but gets horrible mileage (15MPG) and only has a 20 gallon tank. It also sits really high, which makes getting in and out a struggle.

I prefer driving the F-150. It's just as fast, has a lot more room, is quieter and gets way better mileage. It has a 36 gallon tank and can go 600-700 miles between fill-ups.

Yeah! although I like my old Firebird, I wish it was a 73 Z,, then I think, dang, I could have a newer GT-350 with that 8250 rpm redline, those things sound sick with that flat plane crank

My local dealership has a Shelby Super Snake Mustang that's usually parked in the service bay. 800+ HP! I was checking ti out and the service manager came over and chatted with me. It costs $150K+ and takes 14 quarts of full synthetic. An oils change is over $350! I'll pass...

I'll bet it's horrible in the snow! :p

They also had a F-150 Shelby Super Snake, but it sold. Sticker was around $120K and oil change costs were about the same as the Mustang. Some of the current vehicle offerings are amazing!

Those are both great looking vehicles, but what a price!!!! Maintenance costs are one of the reasons why I still do my own oil changes. It's cheaper, I know I'm using right stuff, and it gives me a chance to check under the truck for potential problems. I had a tire pressure sensor go bad. I have no idea what the dealer would charge, but Discount and Belle Tire wanted $75. I bought four sensors from Amazon for around $8 a piece and changed it my self. It took a bit short of 2 hours because it was a learning experience. I bet I could do it now in an hour or less.

That Mustang is a beauty, and I bet it's a little more fun than my GT! All that power in a pickup truck seems like it would be an experience I personally would not want. (Liar! I'd have the time of my life!)
I'd probably un-stripe the truck to make it look more normal. I love 'sleepers'. Wolfs in sheep's clothing. ;)

Yeah! my little brother bought an 08 GT 500 with no stripes or badging, had about 8,000 miles when I drove it home from South of Kansas City! 597 RWHP on the dino, what a little rip! I took my son in law for a short hop out West on Morton Ave in Jax, Central Obamastan!!

Yep. The worst thing about the Bronco (mine is a two door with only a 16.9 gallon tank) is the smallish gas tank for a vehicle with rather poor mileage. I get 17 with mine, but it's a 2.7, not the Raptor's more powerful 3.0. You have to stop too often to fuel up for my taste - especially when towing at about 12mpg. Help may be on the way, though, rumor has it the mid cycle refresh in a couple of years will offer a hybrid powertrain. That should increase mileage somewhat, assuming it's true.
