Have an early M37 Chief, # 235016. 3 screw with early flat latch. Anyone have one close to get an idea when it was shipped. Belonged to a Police Detective. Sorry if I am in the wrong place. I have no idea when this gun was shipped. Thanks, Big Larry

Looks like, per the SCSW 4th, it's in the latter part of the 1957-1962 period (states 295000 @ 1962).

234807 shipped January 1962

235308 shipped on March 27, 1962, it was 1 of 100 Model 36s to the NYPD Equipment Bureau.
