Don't Hate Me - 17rd Magazines?

First, thanks for such an enjoyable forum. I often read, but don't have much to contribute compared to the collective wisdom.

Nonetheless, three days ago I bought a used M&P9C with the typical two 12rd magazines. However, I am trying to find two 17rd magazines for it.

I have already ordered two X-grips, but would love to find a couple 17rd mags to go with them.

Any ideas where I might be able to find some used or in stock?

(I realize many people are looking--some that failed to get them previously and those, like me, that just recently bought the gun. I have email notifications set up at a number of sites, but thought I might see if anyone might know some better sources.)

Any courteous direction would be appreciated! Thanks!

The S&W website still had them for sale last time I was there. $41 is high, but "beggars can't be choosers", as they say. Check it out.

I had/have ordered two from S&W (when it appeared they were in stock (on Jan 1st)), but it appears they took my order, but don't have stock to fill it.

I'll leave my order in with them for now, but was hoping to find them available elsewhere.

I usaually order from Botachtactical.com or 44mag.com but they are both sold out. Keep checking. Also Midwayusa.com, but they are usually higher

Check all your LGS. Take a day and just go looking in your general area. 17's shouldn't be too hard to locate. Amazing what you can run across at some of the "Mom & Pop" shops. Just might have something you didn't know you needed

Midway USA is no longer accepting back orders on magazines but they still show them becoming available around mid Feb.

Brownells is still allowing backorders. I would give them a call and see when they may get some in stock.

The threat of having high capacity mags banned is starting to run wild. My local stores are all sold out. Amazingly, my local Gander Mountain had three left but they're selling them at $49.99 each. The local Fleet Farm had them for $37.99. The guy at GM helped me out and matched FF's price. Two left...perhaps I'll grab them both if no one else picks them up.

Well, I've checked Botach and GCLLC--no dice.

Unfortunately, I don't have any Fleet Farms near me and they don't show any 17rd mags on their site (not even "out of stock").

I'll continue my hunting.

They are out right but will, I feel sure, get more when the panic buying slows down.

Most of the time this is where i get my mags from. Excellent price and $5 flat rate shipping. Ive ordered up to 5 mags at a time and never paid over $5 for shipping

I bought 6 from gregcotellc a few weeks ago.

Ordered 6 more from Botach on the 17th as well as two 12 rd. Got the 12's. Haven't seen the 17's but didn't get an order cancelled notice either yet.

Bought 6 more 17 rounders from kygunco for 34.99 each a week or so ago and got them today.

If I get the 6 from botach I will probably sell a few. I think a dozen is probably enough!

Kessellrings Gun Shop had a bunch in stock two weeks ago for $30, then went up to $40 and I didn't order anymore. There are a handful on the EE at AR15 for almost nuts in your throat high but available if a must.

I just got an email from 44 Mag that they had them in stock. But when I clicked on the link, the price was $59.99. No thanks. I thought they were a reputable company. I may never order from them again.
