Thet was jist one of our boys. Good honest citizen. Once you've listened to them fur a while, you understand. I try not to make too much fun of them. And I respect him more than the dope heads who crashed. I would have liked to see some photos of the girl in the bikini with red spots. When we've got a good campfire going, its the kind of thing we all want to discuss whilst taking on an adult beverage or two. But not in Laurel County, its dry (or was).

Once, long ago, like the early 1980s, we went on a wilderness trailride. We got a notification of them holding it. So on the Saturday, I took momma and down we went. The guy in front of us broke off a rear shock. I could see they were Monroe Magnums and the jeep was stock height. So on Sunday a buddy wanted to go along, and we went out to the garage an rustled around until I found one of my take-offs. Tossed it in the jeep and off we went. Got there and the good ole boy was back, so we got under his jeep and took his broken one off and put mine on. Gave him his because they came with a lifetime warranty. Told him to take it back to the parts house.

He wanted to pay, but I didn't want anything. Just one jeeper helping another. But he told us he was the County Sheriff, and it would be graft! So I kind of understood and suggested he pay us a quarter. He agreed.

It wasn't far from the crash site shown on the little video. We were up on Camp Wildcat on the wilderness road, kind of above Livingston, KY. Its marked by a gravestone type marker, a Civil War battlefield.
