I just won a Spanish Eibar S&W clone in 32-20 on GB. Its in poor condition from its looks and was cheap to say the least. Are there any K frame parts that will be close enough to fitting this bucket of rust? From a hammer / fireing pin, etc. to springs and screws?

There are no S&W parts that will fit the Spanish copies. The lock work is completely different than S&W being of Pieper design, much like Colt revolvers

Gun Parts Company used to have some parts for the Spanish guns, but there were several makers that made these S&W copies in the Eibar area and they are not all the same! Most parts will not interchange, even between the various Spanish makers. You might call Gun Parts Co, but you will need to know which company made the gun!

Be aware that the gun may actually be chambered for the French 8x27mm Rimmed in spite of being marked for .32-20/.32 WCF. If so it may not chamber modern .32-20 ammunition that is in bottle-necked cases. At least some would accept early .32-20 ammunition that used a straight taper case that was still common when these guns were made in the 1920s.

How much did you have to pay for that wonderful thing?

EIbar 32-20

The winning bid was $94 bucks. It will make a good wall hanger if it never gets a round thru it. A good soaking in my trans fluid concokshuld plus oil and #0000 steel wool will gussy it up a bit.It was the preverbial shot in the dark purchase! I don't have to worry about hurting it, besides I have a safe full of S&W 32-20s.

These days $94 isn't bad, even for a Spanish copy of a S&W. Do you know if it has the "American best cartridges are.... note on top of the barrel?

I was just looking at your album. It looks like your interests are about as eclectic as mine.;)

My second S&W was a 1902 1st chance .32-20 6 1/2". The first was a 3" Chief's Special. .32-20 is my favorite cartridge. It started in about 1948 when I would have been 4 years old when the very first pick-up brass I ever found were 2 32-20s. I believe I still have them. I do still have the 1902 revolver.

Like you I have quite a few .32-20 guns, 2 Colts, the Spanish S&W copy, a Marlin rifle and about nine (?) S&Ws, including a Model 16 K-32 re-chambered to .32-20. I had 3 Colts but converted one of them to .41.Long Colt. Bubba had already gotten to that one. I have had several more during the past 60+ years, plus numerous other .32 caliber handguns and even more that can be called .32 caliber.

My grandfather took this S-A revolver off of a Rio Grande
smuggler around 1922.
He was a Texas Ranger, Company D.
I fitted a K frame firing pin when I inherited it.. It does
work, but i haven't shot it in decades.
Alk is correct about the lock work.
I believe it has the "American best cartridges are.."
or something very similar.

Mine is suitable to be a wall hanger.

Eibar was not a brand, but a region of Spain. There were probably dozens of gun makers in the Eibar region of Spain. Called a 'cottage industry' some made parts for others. Most made copies of S&W revolvers, but I've seen some that had features of Colt and S&W. Quality varied from horrible to ''not too bad'', but nowhere near the quality of Colt or S&W! Steels tended to be on the soft side.
