Hello -
I have recently purchased a lightly used Elite Silver - I recalled when they had come out and lusted after them since. It was only after my purchase that i came to find out that parts weren't exactly that plentiful. I was lucky enough to have a friend that happened to have one of the beautiful leather cases for it and a few extra chokes - so i'm good with that one.
I was also able to find one that was broken - so i picked that up for parts and/or with hopes to fix up at some point. The hammer spring snapped so it won't fire.
After several searches - i still haven't found a place that appears to sell the new springs.
Are there any other parts that have failed on these? (I have mostly seen other posts where people were asking about the chokes, but no specific parts). As i understand it - SW isn't able to offer up much help in this department.

So - for those few of you out there - are yours still working? what parts are broken? and are you able to source any new ones?

Thank you,

Well - for those few interested - I was in contact with a rep from Dickson arms - he confirmed that their Elite is the same as the S&W one. So - the broken spring i have can be replaced however he indicated that their supply is zero and it will be about a month and a half before they get more from the factory.

Have you tried numrich arms? Also Brownells has a lot of spring stock could something they have work? Good luck looks like a nice shotgun.

I had checked brownells and a few other sites. Now that i know i can get factory replacements i will wait. I have one working one already, so waiting for some springs wont be too bad.
I also asked the rep if they sold the same chokes, he will be getting back to me as he had to check.
Seeing that my early searches all pointed to no parts available...knowing that dickison has the goodies makes it all good.

springs!

In emailing with Dickinson Arms I was referred to PISCO - they are in Oregon (PISCO - Home) They were able to sell me 2 mainsprings. I had hoped to pick up a few more just in case but apparently the factory in Turkey didn't share too many. Springs were $25 each. It was very easy to just pop the new one in - hammer works again.
I also now noticed that the shells don't spring out as they do on the other shotgun - so i'll need to see what else needs to be replaced - but for now - it will work fine. I will just need to pull the shells out - but not a problem as i'm not in a hurry when i use it anyway.
Just thought i would share the info. Good luck.

Thanks for the info, I have a couple that I crunch clays with.....been shooting them for several years......good to know where to go if I need to for parts.....may buy some springs, etc., just in case.
