Semper Fi Brother!
Chad just sent me a message that I screwed up. I asked Chad to try and fix this. I was trying to give any Eotheh owner a heads up.
God bless!

I am not a lawyer, but the FAQ seemed to cover pretty much everything about the options. My EOtech is still working well so I opted for the "keep the EOtech and receive a voucher" choice.

Thanks for the heads-up on this issue.

My Eotech sucked battery life even when in the off position. When I first noticed, I thought I had put the gun back in the safe and forgot to turn the sight off. The second time, I did a search about it and found out about the recall. Took around two months, but I was refunded what I had paid.

I just purchased an Eotech... though they handled the recall really well.

L3 must've really taken a hit on the Eotech recall. They have a cool and innovative product, I hope this doesn't put them out of business or discourage them from developing new products.
I went my Eotech back for a refund, they have handled it very well. The reticle is what originally sold me on the Eotech. It was difficult finding a replacement with a similar reticle, I ended up with a Holosun optic and I've been super happy with it. So far it's every bit as good as the Eotech, and better in many respects (battery life and size).
