Even when I was young enough that thoughts maiming myself didn't enter my head so much, I never even considered something like this . . .

Makes my old bones cry out just watching. Still, ya gotta marvel at the skill and agility.

Reminds me of when Joe Theisman (Thiesman) had his leg broken by Lawrence Taylor on TV. I could never watch it again.

It is a sport and I'm surprised it's not an Olympic sport already. It's called, Bike Trials Competition. They usually set up courses with all kinds of strange tricks you have to do to get from one end to the other. I have enough trouble keeping the wheels under me, but it is very cool to watch the skilled guys doing that.

I have mixed feelings about sending it to my grandson because he'll be out there practicing before the video is over but Wow, what athletic ability that kid has and the hours of practice he has put into it...

I think that's what they mean when they say take it to another level. I used to race, ride around and do tricks, but nothing like that. I still bust out my unicycle now and then and I'm alwayed suprised I can still ride it

Well maiming yourself is hardly new for youngsters. When I was a kid we made our own glider out of firring strips and cardboard and such, it came apart almost at once after launch, the pilot,(me) was then treated to a long drop down into the concrete and brick section of the dump! And as for our submarine, its rusting remains still lie at the bottom of the Paper mill dam, thankfully without it's Captain,(my bud, I learned from the glider). These were but two of many adventure's and how we lived to maturity is still a mystery.

Good times. Caught a baby cottonmouth, thought it was a water snake. Kept it in my pocket. Had it a couple days before somebody told me it was a Moccasin. Used to catch wasps by the wings after they landed. If you didn't do it right, OUCH.
