The Russian knife was made illegal by Congress in the 80's. They were stupider at that time than now. The gas injection knife does have a legitimate use. They were used for last ditch shark defense and excelled at it.
I'm guessing the "stupider" comment was about congress and not the knife. The Russian knife was made illegal by Congress in the 80's. They were stupider at that time than now. The gas injection knife does have a legitimate use. They were used for last ditch shark defense and excelled at it.
"An army without secret agents is exactly like an man without eyes and ears."Frankly I appreciate this thread. It is always useful to know your enemies and their weapons and tactics. If I were a spy, industrial or gvmt in a former soviet bloc country, I would want to know distances to keep away from shady characters.
I expect them to ban shoes next as most gang crimes are committed while wearing shoes. At least you don't live in Australia with our stricter firearm and prohibited weapon laws. A few years ago, the state I lived in (New South Wales - Sydney is the capital) banned all "Zombie" style knives (sales and possession)! Only a couple of months ago, Victoria (capital city is Melbourne) banned machete's as they were being used in Gang related crimes. And still, with all this regulation, every second night there is some sort of public place (eg assassinations, ambush, drug-deal gone wrong) or drive-by shooting amongst the warring organised crime groups. My state also bans Butterfly/Balisong knives along with Flick, OTF, and assisted opening knives. A few years ago, the Australian Border Force attempted to stop the importation of any "flipper" knives however this was later abandoned.
