I would be most grateful if someone can help me locate an exploded view of a Model 4596 (or similar) Semi-Auto with the associated parts key. This is an all steel pistol assembled from a 4506 receiver and a 4516 slide. About 400 of these were made as Lew Horton "specials" in 1990. I am particularly interested in the correct nomenclature for the component parts of the safety and decocking mechanisms.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Numrich's has schematics available for many many guns. I did a quick search and found parts for the 4596 but not a schematic. They do have 4506 and 4516 schematics available, however.

Brownells has schematics, without a "watermark" emblazoned across them (on the home page scroll to the bottom, click on schematics under the "ordering" heading).

Plus if you need to order something, prices for the same part are generally (and sometimes substanially) less than Numrich... plus my experience between the two has shown that I have a much greater chance of getting the correct part (the first time around) from Brownells.
