For factory fodder I like the Winchester 200gr Silvertip.

When I roll my own, I like the Hornady 180gr XTP over 6 grains of bullseye.

I'm not looking for .44 magnum level performance - rather something akin to the .45acp.

I carry the Speer-CCI .44 Spl. 200 grain Gold Dot JHP. It is a great load to carry and shoot. I have found it to be very accurate....
