Fall Photos

Well, hunting season so far this year has been dismal, but on the other hand getting to see some wildlife has been fun.

We always have had Juncos hanging around every fall and they have moved in with a vengeance. Normally I could not get near them, but a week or so ago when it was warm they cooperated and let me snap a few pics.







This is the first year we had a Cardinal come anywhere near our bird feeders. You would see one occasionally near the tree line but never anywhere I could get a picture. This one has been coming around more and more since we started putting out the feeder two weeks ago.







There were a lot of pictures taken of the supermoon that just occurred, I got a decent night time shot, but then I got this one the following morning.

We have juncos in the summer but I don't think I ever
got any pics of them. Too far north for cardinals.

We use strait sunflower seed in our feeders and the cardinals flock to them. It's not uncommon to see 6 or 8 at a time.
