Favorite caliber?

I mean, do you need to have a favorite caliber? Every time I think it's the 9mm, I go to my .38spl/.357 mag and the fun ensues. Then, when I go to my .45acp, I could shoot that all day.

Do you have a favorite caliber or is that rather unnecessary?

I like all of them. Each one seems the best while I'm shooting it. After shooting all the big bores and magnums out there (and loving every minute of it), I still have just as much fun with a .22 as when I started out. Each one is enjoyable in it's own way, to me.

I have two, 22, because I have the most ammo in that caliber and 38 special, because I have the most revolvers in that caliber. If I absolutely had to narrow it to one it would be 38 special.

Too difficult of a decision I love the .45 acp, .40 S&W, 38/.357 mag and
.44/.44 mag

I have several weapons of different calibers but my favorites are:
for .357 Magnum revolver
for pistol: .45 acp
for rifle: .308 Winchester.

Some guns I enjoy shooting more than others, regardless of caliber. But, day in and day out, it's the .44 magnum in wheel guns, and the .45 acp in semi-auto's. If I didn't handload, my choices might be different? Naw, probably not...

How to decide? First, like everyone else, my fave it what I am shooting that day. Since I dislike .44 Magnum that's what I don't shoot. But if I'm shooting rifles it could range from. 22 to .45-70 and in handguns .22 to .45 Colt.

And that doesn't include the .416 Rigby that I sold after I tore my rotator cuff in a martial arts class. That was something else again!

BUT...if I must choose........

Revolvers. .38 Special

Pistols. 9mm

Rifles. Much harder but I'll stick to .308 Winchester.
