That's like asking what child you love more, but if I only could take one it would be 27-2 357 mag 6.5 inch barrel or amodel19-4 both shoot great and have great triggers. Probally go with the 27. N- frames are touff and willlast alifetime or two.

Model 65-2, 3" barrel. Mine has action job, hammer bob and wood boot grips. If I could figure out how I would post a pic...

I always pack this one when out and about. Got a pancake holster for it should I need to be a little more discrete about going heeled. It'll be the last Smith I part with.

If you could only have one S&W,(a very difficult choice), which would it be? Mine would be my old 17-1 22lr. My reasoning is that I like to do a lot of shooting and the K is everything I could ever wish for in a 22.

A .22 ? you must not be planning to shoot it ?

The 442-1 is with me most often, and the 22-4 makes for the best shooter, but this would be the keeper for sure:

Well, I have it narrowed down to two, at the current moment. Either my first S&W, a 4" 27-3 that was my first LE gun, or my 625-7 .45 Colt Mountain Gun. I'll post pics later.

My favorite Smith is the Model 60-14. Wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

Been asked this a number of time over the years and give the same answer each time.

My 3" inch barreled .357 magnum Model 65, most currently in the Ladysmith guise. Why?

1. It can be loaded from "mild to wild" including shot shells.
2. It's 100% reliable
3. It's short enough to conceal
4. It's long enough for decent velocities
5. It's light enough to carry all day
6. It's heavy enough to mitigate recoil well
7. It looks MARVELOUS!
