Riddle me this....What do Robby the Robot and the Lost in Space Robot B9 have in common???

They are both nuetered?
I think one could argue both were male, at least by voice.

Neither one are real.
I think one could argue both actually exist, not as robots but as costumes

motorized treads?:D
Only LIS Robot rolled on treads, Robby walked. The LIS Robot actually sort of walked in the first episodes too, but it proved too cumbersome for the actor in the suit, so they switched to the rolling treads.

Three swings, three misses.

Star Trek TOS; greatest show ever. Period. Shatner is a genius. Captain Kirk is my hero.
Firefly; Brilliant, of course it was cancelled. Only because of Joss Whedon was there a movie to wrap things up. Great theme song.
Enterprise series had one HOT Vulcan.
I liked Battlestar Galactica until they took so much time off I didn't care anymore, never did see the finale...
Farscape was awesome until they ran out of money.
Surface was really cool, never saw it until it was over and done.
Don't tell me Sarah Conner has been terminated! I liked that show!
Alien Nation was good. Better than the movie.
Of course there was Ultraman, Star Blazers and the rest of the Japanese stuff. Loved Godzilla.
How about Salvage 1? Andy Griffith!!!
Wasn't there a show about an intergalactic garbage truck or something?

Star Trek: The Next Generation. The attention to detail was fantastic. I think it showcased great special effects and great writing.

"Captain Midnight" I watched this program in the mid 50's on a "monster" 19" black & white TV.

Ahhhhhhh.....Those were the days..............................

TLG, the old guy from WV.....

Babylon 5 was a great series because unlike most television shows, it was written with a 5-year story arc in mind. It actually had a planned ending and was not just strung out as long as the gravy train would last. J. Michael Straczynski wrote most of the episodes and included tidbits in early seasons that would show up years later, and then make sense. It took a dedicated viewer but now that it's on DVD it can be enjoyed at a person's leisure.

Unfortunately the idiot networks made it uncertain as to whether there would even be a 5th season, so JMS had to compress events in season 4 a lot. Consequently season 5 is a little disjointed, but still good stuff.

'My Favorite Martian'

'The Outer Limits'

'The Twilight Zone'

Star Trek' (Original)

'The Wild Wild West'

'3rd Rock From The Sun'

Kolchak the night stalker and the Invaders, when I was a kid the Invaders scared the heck out of me.

The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.

Yeah buddy! Brisco, Bowler and Dixie were about as cool as tv characters get. If it's available on Netflix I highly recommend it.

Edit: Just checked NetFlix and it's not available for streaming but DVD's are available.
