Thanks for the compliment, most folks think that it needs to be refinished.
I do shoot it. I have heard all about soft metal and poor heat treating, but those guns were made to be used and loved.
Sig P226 Tacops, 9mm, with the funky plastic extended magwell grips replaced with a set of Hogue checkered aluminum grips.

This pistol has completely wrecked going to the LGS for me. I haven't found another full size 9mm pistol that both fits my hand, is as accurate in my hand, and has a better trigger. The only reason I've had a CZ 75 matte stainless on order for 8 months is because I've wanted one for a few years.
No more pistols for me. I have what I like to shoot.![]()
This one is my favorite of your bunch! If you ever decide to let go of her, I'd like to be first in line!
You have a very nice collection of Colts right there Sir.![]()
Colt 1911s, followed by a good P35. I carried the 1911A1 below during most of my Iraq tour. It had a Colt frame and a Remington Rand slide. Unfortunately, I had to leave it behind when I left. The 2nd one below is my accurized hardball service pistol that Jim Hoag in LA built for me. I've used it off and on for 20+ years with the USAR Service Pistol Team.

My favorite Browning is this 1989 forged-frame MK III that had a few modifications while I was at FT Bragg. 5 lb trigger, mag safety removed, rowel hammer added, Novak sights and parkerizing the slide was all I had done, but it's perfect for carry and weekly practice. It feeds everything, is rugged and looks good.

I do not carry it often, due to the size, but I will always own a Beretta.

This one is just cool.

Stop showing those H&K P7's please they remind me how stupid I was to sell one of each M8 and PSP...Sometimes my stupidity even amasses me..Why H&K discontinued that model and went to pistol that clone's every other so called modern pistol.....I guess they are as dumb as I have been at times......
Back in the mid 1980s I wanted a P7 in the worst way.
