Someone apparently phoned in that title, perhaps it just barely edged out "Walking Dead: Los Angeles".

Anyway...promos show the female lead armed with what looked, in a brief look at it, with a Ruger Red Label. Perhaps this time someone will have a Model 15 or Model 27 etc for their classic revolver.

This series will focus on the early days of the zombie apocalypse, the time while Rick Grimes was in a coma.

If it is successful perhaps we will be treated to The Walking Dead: Detroit...where no one really notices anything different.

Thanks for the reminder......... me and the boys will be there........

Mom will just shake her head roll her eyes........ and exit stage right.

Hope it's good nothing like a Sunday night....... Sci Fi fix of.... Zombies and the last Destroyer..

Im looking forward to it only because I want to see California destroyed. Just kidding, just want to see how the West Coast deals with the sit rep. Also,I want to see if that lady relaxing in her swimming-pool,survivesor not?>

Oh No, not yet another Zombie series! Please I will take another Vampire series, or another fast cars series, or another New York Purple series, or even a Death Wish 17, or anything but another Zombie series.

Guess I'll have to miss out on this one too, out here in the sticks I haven't had satellite service or an antenna in 3 years now, nothing hooked to my t.v. but a dvd player. Maybe I'll put in one of my Dirty Harry movies tonight.

Seasons 1-4 of the original Walking Dead series is available on DVD. Season 5 available this Tuesday. Lead character favors a Colt revolver. Target rich environment!

It will be on DVD before you know it.

Be interesting to see how the producer and writers portray those in Ca. defending themselves verses the good ol boys from The South.

I'll DVR it and see.

I never watched the original series until the middle of last season. Been house bound the last five Sundays getting caught up. Had to get up at 5 AM this morning as it started early. At least it was raining today.:D

Got the DVR set. Its going to be a slow start, compared to Rick Grimes headshooting a 4 year old girl in the first few minutes of the original.

I'm optimistic. I liked the main actress - Kim Dickens (who I'm afraid will always be Joanie Stubbs to me) and the rest of the cast looks fine, too. I'm sure the naysayers will bash it like they do the other WD, which continues to set ratings records every year.

As I hope the preview with the shotgun is a sign that Mom will become Carolized as the season goes on. Because Carol is my favorite.

The Walking Dead has helped to sell a lot of guns. I expect this, with the focus on society unraveling will do the same.

I had to explain to my wife how parts of Flint and Detroit had whole sections that looked like Berlin circa 1945 and were mostly rubble. At least it used to be that way. I left Michigan almost a decade ago. I was always surprised no one used the apocalyptic landscape for filming, either zombie films or WW2 films.
