Fear the Walking Dead starts tonight

Why do they walk so funny????

Isn't a biological fact that when someone dies their muscles relax and that includes those for the digestive system? That I would assume is why the zombies always walk like rappers in slow motion, their pants are hanging down under a heavy load.

I heard they wanted to film this series in New York City but they realized the zombies would be smarter than the people who live there and just all migrate to New Jersey.

That's no easy task. Do you know how congested all the bridges and tunnels leading into NY are!?!?!?!?!? They would have to limp their butts practically to Albany and then come back down. Plenty of time to take them out in the mean time.

I know a lot of you folks enjoy these shows about zombies, vampires and such but I am glad there are other channels available so I can watch something else. I just can't get into zombies.

I DVR'd it and watched it late last night. I hit FF>> most of the way through.

Interesting how/why they started a prequel series a few weeks before the WD returns for season opener.

I liked it. Since its an origin story it is going to be slow going at first, but they did start it off with a nice little zombie meal, and it finished strong with the resilient Cal.

I like the junkie kid. His crazy junkie walk might get him shot pretty soon if he's not careful.

I watched it and the first thing I wish would have happened is that the Mother would be bitten or at least killed off the first ten minutes after seeing Her.What a Witch.
It could be a good Show if They dont get cheap.

Seasons 1-4 of the original Walking Dead series is available on DVD. Season 5 available this Tuesday. Lead character favors a Colt revolver. Target rich environment!

His Colt is special though and not available to the general public. It's special in that it fires as many shots as necessary before the requirement to reload. I WANT ONE OF THOSE!

In all the scenes where Rick fires a lot he's using an HK or an AK. Otherwise his Colt is usually a few shots. From what I remember

Can you still buy a cap n ball revolver over the counter with no waiting period in California? I couldn't help but think that an 1858 clone, round balls, caps, and some Pyrodex pellets would have come in handy....

The junkie prodigal son, Nick, reminded me of a young Johnny Depp for some reason.

What better way to get the Walking Dead fans, who are looking forward to the new season to wet their whistle before the WD actually starts. And if the spinoff catches good reviews...they double their money and double the fun.

Haven't seen it yet but I am hopeful...

He did look like Depp

From what I read a few weeks ago was that FWD was renewed for a second season even before the show aired

Yea, I had heard that too. Kinda wonder though if the reviews bomb if they won't cancel that plan. We'll see. It is all about capitalizing on what is "in" and right now WD zombies seem to be in. I actually did not watch the first and half of the second season. But when I got started it just hit with me. Funny how some of the characters that were killed off I was actually relieved they were gone and others, so sad.

Now, if they come up with Real Zombie Wives of Dallas they've taken it too far...:D

Well, I figured it would start slow, but it started getting interesting last 30 minutes. I'll give it a few more chances before I decide otherwise---and start watching Westerns in its place. To me, I didn't get the same vibes as I did with the first ep of The Walking Dead. However, I'm greatful to have them FINNALY explain it to me on film--of what happened.

Watched the first ten minuets or so and switched over to "The Last Ship. I guess watching two soap operas is enough for me.

For the first lil' while... thought that junkie was the dead walkin'.
