not the best or scholarly reader of giberish but when i try to read Feinstein bill where she describe assault pistols she says any semiauto that has a detachable magazine,,and then lists some other nonsense,,,does she mean all semiautos or what???

I think she does. Once again, it's intentionally written to be as vague and as inclusive as it can be. Don't forget the "military characteristics".

didn't think hate was a characteristic of my being but feinstein got me leaning that way,,,,if she sinking in quicksand and i nearby with rope and rocks,,,no doubt she get the biggest rocks,,never would i have thougt!!!!

Here is the cleaned up text of pistols that would be the "assault weapon" category....

(D) A semiautomatic pistol that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine and any 1 of the following:

(i) A threaded barrel.
(ii) A second pistol grip.
(iii) A barrel shroud.
(iv) The capacity to accept a detachable magazine at some location outside of the pistol grip.
(v) A semiautomatic version of an automatic firearm.​

(E) A semiautomatic pistol with a fixed magazine that has the capacity to accept more than 10 rounds.

Well,,the (E) section certainly makes it clear,,every semiauto pistol i own is an assault weapon,,what have i assaulted in the last 40 yrs,,,,,tin cans,,water bottles,,,paper targets,,dirt clods,,cockroaches,,and a few unlucky horse flies!!!!
What is it she plans to happen to those pistols????

I know what you mean...

I keep shaking my head in disbelief.... 50% of my 22lr pistols are assault weapons and I never even knew it! And even worse, my family and friends ENJOY shooting them!

It is hard to believe that I haven't caused mayhem to the world [sarcasm].

I am not familiar with any semiautomatic pistol that has a "fixed" magazine.
