Fillin the Gap

I just installed my new MOE hand grip and there is a gap between the grip and the lower reciever.
Did I buy the wrong one?
Or is there some way you all are filling the gap?

There is a gap. It's something about the lower receiver wasn't built out all the way or something.

Even the MOE version from the factory has the gap...

I saw somewhere that someone came out with a filler piece for that gap specifically.

Magpul makes a wedge that will fill the gap and also hold the detent spring, I put a miad grip on my 15-22 and used one of these wedges and it was just the ticket. I got mine on ebay but I'm sure Midway, Brownells, etc have them also.

I found the wedge on Brownell, but it says it is not compatible with MOE grip only the MIAD grip from Magpul. So has anyone installed it with the MOE grip for the M&P 15/22, and if so, could you post a pic of it so we can see if it works... Thanks
