Been looking for one and picked up a newer model 41, yes I need pictures. Love shooting it but why are the mags so pricey? Back order from S&W and over $50 everywhere else,is that the going price? . Like to get into Bullseye shooting with it.
I've had a 41 for quite a while and was buying mags for $15-$25. I haven't been following their prices closely, but wonder if the high price is due to them being more than 10 rounds. 22 rimfire gun and especially ammo are VERY hot right now. Unless you are desperate for mags, you might want to wait it out.
I think the one you saw at least had the metal Follower.
Although that price was crazy, there was 4 of them with metal followers that were sold sometime before.
Not sure on the final price it was up there.
I prefer the metal followers, many do. They are typically 10 round. There are 12 round mags, but I only use 10 round mags.

Look at some of the better grade retailers for these mags as they should not cost you any more then $35. each. I paid $27.00 each last time I ordered a few of them but they had the plastic bottoms. They seemed to work fine so far as I have a total of 5 now in stock.
