Finally...fired my MP Sport 1st time!

Greetings Everyone...

Finally was able to take my MP Sport to the range today!!

I took off the stock sight, as I wanted a fully adjustable rear. Mounted a DPMS rear sight on it.

Started firing at 50 yards, way high by about 12". Then finally dawned on me to raise the front sight! Bingo! Was hitting the Shoot & C and getting decent groups using Winchester White Box 55 grain 5.56 and American Eagle 55 grain .223.

Moved out to 100 yards, figured out where to hold it, roughly at the 6:00 position and started hitting!

Had a blast! I know I would do much better with a scope, but I love peep sights! Groups at 100 yards, not too great... 3-4", a scope would probably get it to 1 - 2".

Money well spent on this rifle! Sorry for the bad photo, took a quick Cell Phone shot prior to leaving. Target last group shot at 100 yards.

They are fun to shoot! Nice grouping at 100 yds with iron sights too.

Good job, it's all about the practice.
Pretty soon you'll be having them all in the Black (or Red, as the case may be).

Congrats on getting some trigger time with your new 15-Sport!

Same here. I do better with a telescopic optic, but I just love the challenge of shooting with good old irons.

GREAT JOB..... and always Fun with My Sport

I just have a reflex site on Mine and LOVE it... co-witnessed with my Irons so works awesome for iron site shooting also...
