That is one beautiful Triple Lock and target to boot. Congratulation on a great score! For us who love all 44s please show us the 2nd model 44/40 which is a rare caliber in that model.

That is a superb example of a scarce revolver. Your 2nd Model .44-40 is equally scarce. There were only 565 produced in that caliber. You didn't mention the barrel length but that could narrow down its group even further.

I am also very impressed with your photography and would be interested in some details of your setup, equipment and the metadata. If you had rather PM me with that info it will be fine.

TLT

The second model 44 HE is 6.5" and has 44-40 cal. stamped on the left side of the barrel. It's a nice gun, std. sights, non medalion grips, and not nearly as nice as the TLT. Will have to decide if I will keep it or not. A friend says I have to keep it to go along with my other TL, in 44/40. We'll see.
