Shot pretty well, I've got all the Apex gear pretty much with a trijicon rmr 06. Shot great and I only noticed one slight issue, out of the 150 rounds I shot I had about 4 FTF. Wasn't a big deal as I would just tap bottom of the mag and it would slide forward the rest of the way. after the first three I took apart the gun and applied a little bit more lube which seems to have helped as I only had one more FTF after.

Before anyone goes crazy and says DID OU CLEAN THE GUN! DID YOU LUBE IT BEFORE! Yes I did and yes I lubed it back up as well.

Right now I'm taking it as since the gun is still new i'm hoping that after 350 more rounds it'll clear up as this is a fresh gun and might need some more rounds to help smooth it out. I'm going to taking it apart and clean it again tonight and have a look at the inside a bit.

Nice shooting. I may have to pick up one of these one day.

I'm assuming that by FTF you mean Fail to Feed. I had this problem with my M&P .45 FS. I used Mothers Polish and a Dremel to polish the chamber. The problem went away and never came back. You might consider that.

I may give that a shot as I have both of those items.

Not to put too fine a point on it, be sure you use a felt polishing tool with the Dremel. I know, it sounds obvious, but I've actually seen the result of someone using a grinding bit to polish the chamber. It wasn't pretty.

Lol!! Wow that would be a bad sight to see!

My 40 CORE has shot flawless in the first 100+ rounds that I have run through it. I like this gun, I plan to swap out the trigger with a Apex in the future, but so far I have been liking the factory trigger the more I shoot it.

Sweet Gun, I have one as well. Have the apex usb and sear. Trigger pull is sweet. My CORE had a alot of FTF at first, almost like the chamber was too small. Got it hung up several times and had to get gunsmith to help me unchamber casing and bullet. Had to eventually send back to factory, came back, have put 150 thru it since, not FTF. Im pretty sure they did something to the chamber but I havent taken the time to call and see. I will Monday and update.

Cool, well let me know and keep us posted!

So I opened up the gun, cleaned out everything... Pulled the firing pin out and cleaned that out too.... Pretty easy to clean as it wasn't very dirty after 150 rounds which is a plus. I polished the feed ramp and it feels very nice, but I noticed something....

See that edge at the top of the guide post, can I just file that down a tad?

I looked at mine, it doesn't have that deformed piece on the plastic. I've got a couple of thousand rounds through it. Since it's plastic (sorry, polymer;)) It looks like it just acts as a guide since there doesn't appear to be anything in the slide that could hit it. Maybe it's been there all along. If it was mine I'd take a file and clean off that little piece of plastic that is sticking out. Maybe somebody at the factory tapped it with a brass hammer while putting the pistol together. I think if you just shot a bunch of rounds it would smooth itself off. JMO

Hmmm I mean I didn't have that before so I wonder what the deal is. Maybe i'll just smooth it out a tad bit.

When I was inspecting that part yesterday I moved the slide all the way back and couldn't see anything that would contact it, but thinking about it again I remember that when I first got it, reinstalling the slide after cleaning it was possible to get the slide "cocked" and it would bump into the guide on the way back. Maybe you bumped it hard enough one time to nick the plastic(polymer:rolleyes:) a bit. Just a thought.
