Hi All,

For those of us unlucky enough to live in the UK there is a small yet bright light burning, " over at the Frankenstein Place!!!!!!"

There is a guy who has a pile of pins in stock.

£25 a go.

Cheaper than I paid for mine 2 years ago, but there it is....

If ya'll want em like you say you do, there's the dude!

It's not me.

So nothing in it for me other than goodwill...

Blackrifle.co.uk

Hope that helps.

Have yet to hear a range report on the proprietary 'Blackrifle' firing pin...I guess they have done their homework and it'll work fine for a long time.

However...there are also factory S&W firing pins available this side of the ponds for the princely sum of £20 from tactical solutions.

So we are now apparently spoiled for choice :)

Still on my original pin...must be pushing the 15000 round count by now, probably more. Nice to know that they are available should the need arise. Might add one to my birthday list, my Hogue storage compartment still has room.

30.00 thereabouts and up (USD). Rifle will collect dust before that happens.

Nothing is cheap this side of the pond when it comes to shooting, especially when it comes to the 15-32.

Average MOE version is £750. So it starts from day one. :(

Rob.

Sounds like you're flirting with the OE firing pins' service limit.
I wouldn't assume new aftermarket firing pins will be better. There's a fine line between hard enough to not deform yet still not being too hard and breaking.

S&W has been good about sending me firings pins when needed but I'm in the USA.

Perhaps I just lucked out based on previous threads. Just got off the phone with S&W customer service. Very friendly rep named Frank. Ordered two spare firing pins (15-22) and springs. Springs are currently OOS but will be shipped when they get a new batch. Believe the pins were 13.00 each (perhaps 13.00 and some cents). Springs were 2.00 each.
