Hey guys I need your help? Second time I went out with my m&p 15 22 and now I'm having firing issues with federal 550 ammo. First time I shot the rifle I bought cci blazer and it shot great no problems I was so happy. So yesterday I went to my local Walmart to buy federal 550 they had it in stock bought two boxes $19.97. So to today went out to my range and from the start I was getting double feeds, stove pipes many, many malfunctions. I have two 25 round mags brand new just like the rifle dwt by the way. I bought the ammo because I read here that everyone loves it not my rifle. Any help would be great. Oh by the way I had some cci blazer left I would load it and the rifle would shoot great, then I would put the federal and the same above issues would occur. Once again let me know what you think and thanks again.

sounds like it just dont like the feds, make sure your mags are loaded properly this causes problems alot also it may be the shape of the bullet;maybe hitting the feed ramp wrong?strange cause mostly everyone including me has good luck with federals

Sounds like ammo problems. My other .22 has the same problem. Loves Blazer, hates Federal bulk. Stovepiped, FTE every round.

Blazers FTW! Mine doesn't like Federal or Winchester ammo, but the indoor range I use has started making me use that clad stuff.

i have been using federal spitfire and so far no problems they work great for me, try using them and see what happens
