First blood with my Performance Center 15-22 (warning graphic)

It is legal to take NON-Game animals in Texas with a legal suppressor.

Wish they would get on the legislation ball and ok it for game animals soon!

right,,, but does that change at night

Spotlighting on private land (with the owners permission) in Texas is legal. This DOES NOT include county roads and highways. Nor does it include game animals such as Deer. Non-game animals such as Rabbits, hogs, racoons, etc. are legal to spotlight. You must have a Texas hunting license even for non-game animals.

From the Texas Parks and Wildlife website....

"Non-protected nongame animals and fur-bearing animals may be hunted at night with the aid of an artificial light on private property. If hunting at night, please make a courtesy telephone call to your local game warden. "

"Nongame Animals (Non-Protected): Any lawful firearm, pellet gun, or other air gun is legal. ".......If you own a LEGAL suppressor....your good to go.

Well if anybody gives you flack for your hunting, just remind them that it puts food on the table, it's not just a reason to kill something. Most hunters respect animals more then those bleeding heart PETA nazis. Great shooting, and good luck in the future with your 15-22, which might I add is quite gorgeous, looks like a real solid setup you have there :-)
