My first ever gun purchase has a road block...

This is so weird.
I got a call from the online store that they can't use the FFL I selected. That FFL offers the lowest transfer fee.

It turns out that the FFL is moving to new address starting May 1st which is still almost three weeks but the problem is ATF site already has their new address while the FFL's address is still old.
They haven't received the new license to send them and they don't know when they'll get it. I assume they'll get it soon since it's April already.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get the updated license?
I'm okay waiting few days.

Yes that's the issue.
Their current license has the address that's valid till end of April but ATF already has their new address that starts on May.
Timing issue.

If it was me I would probably find the FFL with the second lowest transfer fee and go with them. "don't know when they'll get it" sounds like a pretty long wait to me. Patience is NOT a virtue!
