First post - New MOE FDE Owner!

Wassup all!

Just wanted to post up this beauty; Only spend a whole month trying to locate a MOE FDE. Well worth the wait!

After first time to the range I tore it down, cleaned it, and applied the "Crayon trick" - Think it looks great!

Ill be adding things in the future, for now the Magpul sites do great. I've also got 5 mags on their way to my house

Welcome aboard. I forgot the damn crayons on my store run today but did remember to pick up a pound of powder and a couple boxes of 9mm. I've got a Magpul RVG that'll be here monday and stole the Eotech off my RRA as I'll be shooting the M&P 10 times as much as the 5.56. I think the FDE looks awesome and I'm pretty impressed with the magpul sights.

To me the MOE 15-22 is the ultimate version, you're going to enjoy yours very much, plus now you have an adequate supply of magazines. One note of caution when cleaning your M&P15-22, be careful with the ejector. I scraped the heck out of a nice Dewey rod on the sharp ejector. What I do now is place a section of a plastic straw over it and problem solved. Also you can use a pull through flexible rod that also works well like a Bore Snake.
