I cleaned and lubed it well when I bought it about 2 weeks ago. Since then, I did 300 dry fires using snap caps and moving the slide through its full range of motion.

Yesterday was the first chance I had to get to the range. Put 50 rds. thru the new Bodyguard 2.0.
It was FLAWLESS. It handles well, is comfortable to shoot and when shooting it, it somehow feels bigger than it is.

I still can't get 12 rds. in the 12 rd. mag., even using an UpLULA, but that's not a big issue to me. I suspect it will loosen up with use.

The Bodyguard 2.0 was so much fun to shoot that I will probably buy 380 dies and projectiles and add 380 to the list of calibers I hand load.

After 10 months I still cannot get 12 in the 12-round mag or 10 in the 10-round mag.

I'm waiting for MagGuts to release their +2 kit. :)

I'm happy to read that you got a nice BG2 out of the box. S&W may have re-evaluated their quality control and design options?

I reload .380, simply to have cheaper practice anno. Glad you like it. There are some other people on the forum looking at those. Oh, is the magazine supposed to hold 12 or is 11 in the mag and one in the chamber???

I think it's supposed to be 10 + 1 and 12 + 1.
Tight mags don't bother me because (1) I associate strong springs with reliability and (2) I usually run all my mags minus 1 of max.
