Started in 1967, never had an unprimed primer. Being a mechanical operation I can see how it might happen.

I did get a 22 LR round with a double charge of powder, messed up a ruger 10-22 and the magazine. Ruger repaired everything.

Unless of course only the primer goes off and you lodge a bullet in the barrel and squeeze the trigger again maybe in a combat or hunting situation without thinking(or you really don't have a clue about guns).
Neither are King, both have their good and bad sides.
