Allow me this momentary thread drift; my late friend, Stan Helton, was a Huey pilot in Nam. He went on to fly fixed wing heavies out of CVG. He retired 20 years ago to Orlando. He and his wife were introduced to Greyhound rescuing and plunged head first into it and adopted two. At the time of his death two years ago he had helped place over 50 Greys in good, stable homes.
He was a born comic who loved guitars, guns and Greys. You folks would have liked him.
