Good morning guys/gals just found this forum looking up AR info. Picked up an AR 15 sport after years of waiting, found a new one very reasonable. Having been a Marine it really brings back memory's. We slept with them for a little while. Active in the 80's and very thankful I've never fired a shot in anger. Live north of the Tampa Bay Area in Pasco. Currently a Park Ranger at a county level. (Not LEO) have a great day.

Hope the AR treats you well - I like owning mine, but don't feel any particular affection for it and almost exclusively bring it to the range when someone's teenager wants to shoot one. It always works and it stays accurate is all I can say. I had the thing all Rooneyed-out, but it's down to just the ACOG these days - it works!

A very hardy Welcome aboard from Nebraska, always like to see another Vet to chat with. I love the AR platform and have an M-16 just like the one I used in South East Asia why waltz when you can rock-n-roll, plus a couple more in .17 Rem. Great for prairie dogs, and another in .223. Stoner outdid himself with this shooter, now there are so many brands on the market it's hard to pick this one is the best.
