I usually have a hard time finding past posts on a subject that i'm looking for. I have 2 HE 32-20 (32 WCF ctg) with no S&W logos. One is nichel, and one is blued. They don't seem to have been refinished. When I checked the forum search, I found it in a 2020 thread. So, it does work sometimes. I was ready to get rid of the blued one a long time ago because it was shearing lead. You tube helped me remedy that problem. There's hope in all sorts of ways on the WWW.

The lack of a trademark stamp indicates a gun was made during the WWI years (1918-1921) when all the guns were not stamped, not just the .32-20. The search features on the Xenforo software is better than vBulletin, IMO. I'm glad you got your answers.
