Dodging bullets in the jungle while protesters were riding their flower painted buses and marching in the street calling me a war monger and I was not EVEN old enough to vote!!!

Saturday mornings as a youngster. While my friends were either sleeping-in or watching cartoons. I had to get up early and go to Catechism. Dealing with wicked nun with the painful yardstick putting the fear of going blind to the entire class. Nothing was a terrible though as being forced to go to confession and getting Father Smith.

I don't miss being the only kid I knew from school that milked, or put up hay.

I don't miss growing up in a household where the belief was pistols were only good for killing people. I miss a lot of other things about my upbringing but not that. [We were a rifle and shotgun family.]
