My is Brandon, I am a member of the KY National Guard and I am a student at EKU. Just recently in the past year gotten interested in firearms. Purchased a M&P 15r back in the fall, so far I have enjoyed being able to obtain cheap ammo and I am currently looking at purchasing a M&P pistol. My biggest debate is between purchasing a full size or the pro. Joined the forum to find helpful information.

Welcome Brandon! FWIW, I have two M&P's, fullsize, a 40 & a 9. I mostly carry a 4" 1911 but ocassionally carry one of the M&P's. I see no advantage to the compacts, if you belt carry the full size carries just as easily, you have a longer sight radius, more velocity, & better handling, easier to shoot accurately. Like I said just my opinion.
