Hey, everybody, I'm sure most of us ate like a bunch of shoats at the trough today so don't forget to set your bathroom scale back 10 pounds before you go to bed tonight.

My wife did a roast w/ potatoes, etc. It was wonderful. I loaded up on everything and then went out and raked leaves and did general clean up, the yard was a mess due to recent very heavy rain and extremely high wind. About 3 hours later... and right about 5 miles of walking back and forth in the yard, I was back in the house. There was hot coffee waiting. Excellent. I'm kinda sorta hoping that all that yard work will offset all that eating!

Chuckle, Chuckle, Chuckle, A person sure can tell what part of the country a forum member is from, without looking over on the right side and seeing what part of the country is at..."Full as a Tick"....I haven't heard that for a good many years.

Without starting a whole new thread about sayings indigenous to a given region, I sure can tell who is from the southern, northern or even western regions.

Now for me yesterday....I'm as poor as a church mouse, so I didn't have a big feed bag put on...But it was a pretty good day, all'n'all..

I took a nice long walk with Jed the pound hound after dinner. I thought he was acting funny as we walked down the road until I realized he was using me as a wind break. I get no respect!
