Funny signs......

I've lived in the DC Metro area on and off for many years, and one of the most famous, albeit, unauthorized signs is over the Capitol Beltway near Bethesda.
About 1974, the LDS completed their DC temple. It's truly a beautiful building.
As you round the beltway and, it seems to rise up from the surrounding trees, and as you continue, you pass under a railroad trestle that has the following painted on the side...

#1 is from my LGS and range. #2, 3, &4 are self explanatory. I think #2 might be photo shopped.

The sign at a local radiator repair shop says, "A great place to take a leak."

I've posted this before, but one night many years ago I was driving through a small town and saw the neon sign of a steakhouse called the Black Angus. Guess which letter had burned out.

Years ago, I tended bar at a suburban lounge, the lady who owned it got tired of cig butts in the urinal so posted this: " Remember: the hands that mix your drinks have to pick the butts out of this urinal"

Our local paper ran an ad for a restaurant nearby. Their special was;

'C**p filled mushrooms'!

I'll see if I can round up the original ad around here and take a photo. It's probably in the drawer with all the other C+++ I've saved.

In Montreal, back in the seventies, this graffiti:
"Are you besieged by information overload?
This is mearly another installment".

I have long lost the photo (image), but one of my favorites was in front of a "fix-it" shop. It read: "Ladies, we repair what your husband 'fixed'!" :D

My favorite watering hole when I go to San Antonio for the gun show.

On a local DQ marquis sign read " I changed this sign because the boss told me to". Also a local Chinese restuarant had a sign "We Delivery".
