How are these holsters for iwb edc?

I found one at cabelas so I picked it up for 55 bucks.

I didn't want to wait for a crossbreed so I got this one. How does it stack up against the competition.

Also it seems like there should be a little more coverage on the trigger area. It covers the trigger but leaves like a half inch of the behind of the trigger exposed. Is that okay?

Excellent holster. Been wearing my for the last 3 years everyday, carrying a G19.

I carry a M&P9C in one. As long as the trigger itself is covered, there's no problem. The trigger can only be pushed on from the back, not pulled from the front.

Ive been carrying my Shield .40 in mine for over a year now. I carry 12+ hours a day 5 days a week for work and then the occasional outings on the weekend.

No problems here with mine as now im so use to it I could almost forget its even there.

I've used that holster to EDC a Glock 26 & 23 for two years now. It's held up well, looks almost new, and has made for comfortable carry.

3+ years everyday with my full size M&P so far. Conceals very well and is comfortable. Its some plastic and some leather and some metal. Hard to say if any other holster of this style is "better"

Looking at my now, as im wearing it, the top (back) of the trigger guard does protrude a little but tgd trigger is completely covered and there is no way something can get in it to accidentally pull on.

Great feedback. I plan on getting one today so I was overjoyed to see these reviews. It'll be my first try at IWB & even though I can conceal my M&P 40 well with little effort I feel that the King Tuck & the M&P 40 Compact which should be in my hands soon will make concealment easier. Comfort is another consideration. I'm comfortable with all of my OWB holsters & am hoping this IWB will be the same. I don't see why not.

If youre coming of off OWB the IWB take a bit getting used to and finding the right spot on your body. Very important to have jeans/pants just a bit bigger, like one size up. I wear 32-34 so when I shop for jeans I bring my holster and gun and try on with them.

What position do you guys wear it at? It conceals very well at the 3 o'clock but it is more comfortable a little further back from my side. Only problem is you can see the printing from the handle.

For me, the pistol is easiest to access at 3:00, but is uncomfortable because of a prosthetic hip. I usually wear the gun at 4:30 or so, over the right hand side of the rear pocket.

I might mention that I wear the holster untucked with a cover garment. I've tried tucked at the range, but decided it would be next to impossible to access fast if needed.

I wear my at about 8 o'clock position (that 4 o'clock for you righty's). Just slightly behind my left hip

I also have a lot of leather creaking... will that fade as things get worn in?

I wear mine just past the point of my hip at 3:00. Close enough to the exact spot as my duty rig to not matter in my draw stroke. It conceals very well and if you buy slightly larger pants, very comfortable.

I also am not what you would call svelt anymore, and even with some love handles can wear it for extended periods of time. I wore it for an 18 hour car trip to Florida without issue.
