Gambling on the Reno Show next week.

Headed out this next week to attend Friday and Saturday of the Big Reno Gun Show at the GSR. Over the past eight years it has normally been a good show producing several nice additions to the collection.

Haven't attended in two years due to other issues and local shows here in MT have been disappointing the past few years. Little of interest and most any old |Smiths tagged with SILLY high prices.

So taking a gamble on Reno next week.

I went to the last one as a private seller just thinning out the collection. I was pleased with the resulting sales. Be aware that that show is heavily attended by residents of California and they will try every persuasion possible to get you to sell to them. BATFE agents are all over during the show. If you are going to purchase pistols, bring several signed copies of your FFL's license and then arrange for the seller to ship to your FFL. Prices will be at the top of the range for the first two days and then tend to get a little softer on the last day. Good luck! ............... Big Cholla

I was at the last show. I regret not pushing my Father-in-Law (a Nevada resident) to pick up the Model 65 Ladysmith that I found for $600. Not going to make this one because of a work project.

A few of us have done well over the past several years at Reno. Simply haven't attended recently due to other commitments.

After two solid months of house projects, painting ALL of the exterior, yard work, etc, etc. This is going to be a vacation for me.

Well aware of the Laws regarding transfers Cholla. Not my first rodeo.
