Just installed a Norgon Ambi Mag Release and quickly noticed that the Gen2 PMags don't like it as where the Gen3s have no issue.. Any way I can fix this? I've tried tightening and loosening it with no luck. Anybody else with this issue?
Thanks

I don't think you will like my answer.... anything that makes my firearm go from working to not working would be removed.

That's what it's looking like, currently talking to seller for a refund.. I'm bummed because it was nice with the 3s and really went with the rifle :(

Unfortunately, there are multitudes of aftermarket parts for "improvement" of the original design. Few of these items, unless manufactured by one company, are ever tested for compatibility with other company's parts. How could they be ?

You've simply run into a compatibility issue, which is bound to happen - a lot. Probably not much can be done about it, short of switching back to the original (working) configuration....or using only the Gen. 3 P-mags.

Commonly referred to as : "you pay your money and take your chances".....

This is a good reason to test all your mags with your rifle and mark them in some way. I have both 2nd and 3rd gen p-mags that will work great with one rifle(my 15T), but not so much with some of the others(sport & 300BLK). Its weird which ones choose to work. I cant tell any difference between the design of the area where the catch grabs onto the mag. But there is something.
