Going to VT - flying into NH - CCW questions

Going skiing with the family for Christmas at Stratton VT. Flying into NH and renting a car to drive to Statton. I have a GA CWL. Planning on taking a J Frame and a Glock.

Based on my research:

* GA and NH have reciprocity, and
* the great State of VT does not require a permit for CC for resident or non-residents.

Looking for confirmation that I'm correct. TIA.

Vermont does not require a permit to carry, either concealed or open. The only requirements to loaded firearms pertain to rifles and shotguns which must be unloaded while being transported in a vehicle. This does not apply to handguns. Since you have a permit you obviously don't have a felony conviction so you're good to go there. Only off-limits are courthouses, schools, and Federal Buildings. I've never seen a "no guns allowed" sign at any business in Vermont. As far as NH, I'll defer to someone who has more up-to-date info but I believe they do honor your Ga permit. Enjoy your stay in the Green Mountain State.

I am flying direct from ATL to the Manchester NH airport. The alternative was to fly into Albany NY - which is a deal killer for obvious reasons. The ticket to NH was also cheaper.

You'll probably have more trouble finding good snow than with transporting your sidearms... hope you're not planning on cross country... Al Gore has had is right so far this season.. Pico, Jay and other Northern VT mountians may have been able to make snow... not sure about Stratton...

Yep, pretty warm up this way. So far. I hate to sound pessimistic, but I haven't yet heard of a ski area open for business.
