Good man; his passing's a loss for us. He sure had a good long run and made lots of people happy. Not many can say that at his measure.

Charlie Daniels left us today, I heard a report is that he had a stroke. RIP and thanks for all the happy memories, sir!

Charlie was from my area of NC I believe. Really enjoyed his music and his patriotic stance (which got a lot of attention lately).
A tremendous talent that cannot be replaced. RIP Charlie, you will be missed.

Saw Charlie perform in Fort Worth once, back in the early 1980s. He had a long musical career.
One of the greats, a great musician and Patriot. Saw him in concert many times and had tickets for the next Volunteer Jam in Nashville.
Will be missed by many.

Sad to hear this; he was an accomplished fiddler/songster and a proud American. We've lost another icon.
