This is my first post, bought my .22 a few weeks ago but kept it in the range safe until my license came through. Thought the first thing I should do before moving it is find a good case. Ive been doing some research but I'm just wondering what everyone is using, keep in mind that i have a red dot and folding bipod.

Include links to them if you could! Thanks!

Plano makes several versions of handgun cases that are protective and will keep the gun secure. There is everything out there from the Gunguard to the Pelican. I wrap mine in S&W vapor paper, put in a pack of cilica gel under the foam, and use the single gun Plano. It is, in my opinion, the only thing that I need to keep things safe and protected.

personally I use an UTG UTG DC Series Tactical 38-Inch Gun Case, Army Digital: Amazon.com: Sports & Outdoors

I like the case. Well padded with pouches for extra mags. Mine is scoped and fits just fine with the magazine removed.
I use the same case, but in the 34" length, which works fine with the stock in. It takes up less room, and holds it in position well. I've also found that I can leave the red-dot mounted on top, and mount my scope under the rail, leaving 1 pocket for my bipod/grip and (only) 4 pockets for magazines. I'm very happy with it, and think the UTG case padding is excellent.

I use a 32" version of the Classic Army hard case. Its heavier than a material bag, but it means I can use the same one to transport my real steel when I travel by air.

It is also deep enough that I can, with custom foam inside, take the 15/22 and the AK to the range in one bag.

ya i have 1 of the black utg tactical cases, forget what length it is though. rifle with red dot and targets in the big pocket, 2 pockets for my ammo pods, 2 pockets with 4 mags and 1 pocket for misc. tools/batteries/etc.

Thanks for all the advice everyone! I decided to buy the black UTG bag from amazon. Should be in sometime later this week then I can finally bring my .22 home with me!

Next step is buying some short 10 round mags, stupid NJ laws

You should be able to fit 2-10 round mags in each pocket of that bag.

That will work out well then, then I'll have have the one 25/10 round and I probably wont even use that because its a pain in the *** to load without the load assist

Will do, the only place I found them is on the S&W site. Dont really want to spend $20 on each mag though

What's better, no magazines at $15.99 or multiple magazines in hand for $20? :D

Touche sir, haha. Well when I have the spare money I will do some research on the best prices, but I would rather have $20 mags instead of $15 no mags

Just drug home a UTG case. The padding is nicer than some of the others out there. I got a deal from a guy at work that plays air soft and had a spare bag. I could'nt feel bad paying full price either.
