Good Friend and Old Ivory

It's sure nice to have a "good" friend.
One of our members who is a good friend of mine called me a while back to tell me he and his lovely wife were at a flea market and one of the vendors had a set of ivory J frame grips. He wanted to know if I was interested in them. Well yes I was.
Long story made short he bought them, I sent him a check but because of the USPO troubles these days he did not want to mail them.
He called the other day to ask if I was interested in meeting for breakfast at a half way point so we could catch up and I could get my grips. Well yes I was.
He even bought my breakfast, thanks again Mike, for everything but mostly for being a "good" friend.
Now I just have to figure out whether I like them with blue, nickel or stainless.
What do y'all think?

Who says you have to leave them on just one? I'd want to put them on whichever one I was carrying, at least for a while.
That said, they look best on the blued, followed by nickel and stainless last. Wish I had your problem!

Heck, I don't own a J-Frame but would buy one just to put those grips on it. I would buy blue, because the contrast looks great.

Another vote for the blued gun. I have some faux ivory on a blued 19-3 and they look great to me. Someday I'll luck into some real ivories. (I hope)
