I get into trouble at my local Cabelas all the time because of days like today. It's not a snubbie but I couldn't pass it up. 1980 production S&W 66-1. They had it priced $599 which wasn't bad itself, but as always I ask what they will take. Walked out with it for $550.

We used to carry those before the semi-auto model 645 came along. Nice gun.

I have one of those too KSDeputy - or rather the pistol after it, 4506 with the squared trigger guard. I love my 1911's but I really, really like that 4516 too :)

ALMOST glad I don't have a Cabelas in my state - my retirement fund could get in trouble!

As clean as it appears, and especially with those nice targets on it, i'd say you did just fine !!

BTW, you get bonus points for telling us how much it cost (which bizarrely doesn't seem to occur to many OP's), but any chance you wanna tell us what state this was in ??? :D

Here our Bass Pro never has much in the way of used guns. Cabelas though has an extensive and always changing supply of them. I get into trouble at the darn store constantly as they often have really good prices on them.

Got in trouble? No you didn't! You got done on a dang good deal! Love the target hammer/trigger. Good find, sir :)

My 4" no dash is easily one of my favorite guns. Fantastic shooters that you don't have to baby - cleans up beautiful every time. To me the perfect blend of size and weight.
